The recent teardown of the new Retina-capable MacBook Pro by iFixit should quash talk that the screen could be based on Sharp’s IGZO technology. Apple is known to order components from multiple suppliers, so other MacBook Pros likely sport high-resolution screens from other known LCD makers.
